Canada’s floor hockey team suffered a disappointing loss to the Jamaican floor hockey team earlier this afternoon. The nail-biter finished 8-7.
The gritty Canadians had scored the game’s first goal, about 44 seconds into the match, and had lead for several shifts. However, after a series of quick goals by their opponents, the mood quickly changed in the arena, and it remained a fast-paced, intense game for the balance.
True sportsmen to the end, they were given a thunderous applause by the capacity crowd at Expo Idaho.
